about the role

The Enterprise Applications Architect is responsible for the overall design and implementation of enterprise-wide application architecture. This role involves working closely with business and IT stakeholders to develop a scalable and secure architecture that supports the organization’s strategic goals.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in leading the definition of architectural vision and roadmaps.

  • Experience in establishing and governing SDLC processes and performance metrics.

  • Using Enterprise Architecture tools such as LeanIX, Orbus 365, Bizzdesign.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Extensive experience in enterprise application architecture and design in complex landscape of 10+ years.

  • Strong understanding of business processes and IT technology solutions for various industry segments such as retail, insurance, travel etc.

  • Proficiency in software development life cycle (SDLC) processes and metrics.

  • Knowledge of best practices in IT technology related to application architecture.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Certifications (Preferred):

     

    TOGAF, ITIL, or similar architecture/framework certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive application architecture strategy for the enterprise.

  • Lead the evaluation, selection, and integration of enterprise applications and systems.

  • Ensure that application architecture aligns with overall Enterprise IT strategy and business needs.

  • Collaborate with various IT teams to guide the application development process.

  • Define and enforce best practices and standards for application architecture.

  • Provide technical leadership in the planning and execution of IT projects.

  • Anticipate and address technical issues and risks that could impact enterprise applications.
